Minimum nodes and minimum term

Two details determine the starting amount: the minimum number of nodes a platform requires and how long you commit. Both are fixed before the order and can only be increased afterwards.

  1. A row of uniform front panels in a rack, exactly one of them pulled out slightly.

    Minimum nodes per platform

Managed dedicated hosts start at one node, a vSphere cluster at two, a hyperconverged one at three. These lower limits are by design, not a pricing tier: erasure coding — the space-saving protection across multiple nodes — only applies from six hosts; below that, the pool runs two-way mirrored.

With three to five hosts, 47% of the raw capacity is usable instead of 62%

  2. A caliper placed on a mounting rail, hard grazing light from the left.

    Term and discount

Terms of 1, 12 and 24 months can be booked via the cart. The discount applies to the net monthly amount, not to setup fees: 8% for twelve months, 14% for twenty-four. ENTRONYX CLOUD only grants 36 months under a framework agreement, with its own price guarantee and cancellation rights.

Depending on the platform, a cluster holds 16, 24 or 32 hosts

A fully populated, closed rack with attached transport protection.

After the order, ENTRONYX CLOUD hands over a cluster with a fixed maintenance window: vSphere on Wednesdays from 02:00 to 06:00 CET, rolling host by host and announced 14 days in advance. Hyperconverged clusters are maintained on Tuesdays, with data redistribution before each restart.
